STOP PRESS! UK TOUR CANCELLED
A note to my wonderful UK readers,
Unfortunately, due to the severe weather afflicting the UK at this time, it's been decided that my upcoming UK book tour for The Five Greatest Warriors will be cancelled.
I am so disappointed not to be coming, but the icy weather just makes a book tour very difficult both for fans to get to events and for me to get from city to city. I send out my sincere thanks and appreciation to those fans who had booked tickets to events (and who were prepared to brave the ice and snow to come out and meet me!). On behalf of myself and my publisher, Orion, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
I promise I will get back to the UK in the future, to meet my fans there and to sign as many books as I possibly can.
Very best wishes, and again, my sincere apologies.

Dear Readers,
I just wanted to send out a huge “THANK YOU” to all those readers who made The Five Greatest Warriors the No.1 bestselling Australian book for 2009 (yes, for the year!).
I’ve been receiving many emails from readers saying how much they enjoyed the book. I also had lots of fans come to book signings having already read 5GW and saying the same thing — as I said in the interview at the back of the book, I knew that having left readers with the cliffhanger ending in The Six Sacred Stones, I had to deliver with this one, and I’m thrilled that readers feel that I have (I took that obligation very seriously).
So thank you all. Thank you so much for continuing to come along for the ride.
Wishing you the very, very best for 2010.
Matthew Reilly
