BORAT (2006), Directed by Larry Charles, Character by Sacha Baron Cohen

Well! I haven't laughed so hard in a cinema for a long time! Honestly, go and see this movie. You'll laugh till you cry - I did.

We all know who Borat is: the innocent Kazakstani reporter who goes to America , falls in love with Pamela Anderson, and shocks everyday people with his well-intentioned but outrageous social errors.

One of the things that struck me most about the film Borat , was the patience and goodwill of the Americans that Borat/Cohen ambushed with his act. In the world today, some non-Americans have unwarranted and unduly harsh opinions of Americans, but a film like this really shows us that most ordinary Americans are good-hearted and charitable folk, even when confronted by a socially-awkward, manners-deficient fellow like Borat.

A comic masterpiece.
